【テーマ】The Phantom of the Holocaust: An Interdisciplinary Discussion of Trauma
【講師】Dr. Rina Dudai （Tel Aviv Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis and senior Lecturer (emeritus) at the Kibbutzim College of Education, Tel Aviv)

【要旨】The lecture presents the encounter between the poetic and the psychoanalytic language, showing how the poetic language can deal with trauma and its memory. The poetic language has a unique ability to precede verbal language in latent traumatic experience, extracting the memory of trauma from the invisible. The analysis is illustrated by referring to the movie “Ida” (Pawel Pawlikowsky, 2013), demonstrating the ways by which the translation of trauma into poetic language brings forth the unconscious, inaccessible workings of the mind.
